I’m Neal (NealGuides) — an EA SPORTS FC 26 gameplay expert and tutorial maker. I’ve built a YouTube channel with 300,000+ subscribers with one goal: help everyday players get better, fast. The most important thing for me is teaching fundamentals of football and also applying the basics at a very high level.
I coach players at every level, from casual Division 10 newcomers to Elite/Top-200 competitors, eSports professionals, and even coached a few real life footballers who grind on virtual pitch.
My game knowledge has been ahead of the competition, I have be notably known for predicted the META – before it becomes the META – for numerous years and help players get ahead of the game. This comes from my passion for the game, studying every aspect and every core mechanic in detail. This was noticed by EA and I was selected to be one of the very few members of the Design Council, providing hands-on feedback to EA, and also playing in numerous Closed Playtests, to help shape and improve the game we all love.
If you do want to improve in FC 26, you can join my FC School and get better at FC in a structured format, we almost guarantee it to the point that if you do not get better after one month we will refund your money. This initially started as a hobby to give more insights and detailed videos that went beyond my YouTube channel, but has grown and people even stay on to learn and be part of the community. We have now built it to a small team that help make NealGuides tutorials what it is.
Outside of FC, I am an avid Arsenal fan, and currently a season ticket holder, my influence of the beautiful game was from Arsene Wenger, and to this day, I try to replicate the beautiful game inside FC, I have been known to use cheap teams, and play basic football, playing FC for me has to be without mechanic abusing, in fact I never used to teach any form of broken mechanics even though it was the most requested videos by far, however we only very recently made the decision to teach these mechanics only on the FC School for those players pushing to the professional level and want to take their game to a career path as a pro gamer.

When did you start playing FC 26?
I probably started in FIFA 98, however to be completely candid, in my youth it was ISS (international superstar soccer), the two stand outs being: ISS Pro Evolution 2 and PES 5 being the two stand out games.
To this day I still use the same pro evolution controls layout.
What is your goal with teaching people FC?
To be honest, I love teaching the satisfaction of teaching and the messages that you get on a regular basis is worth more any other career can give you.
There is no doubt that I have a unique way of teaching and explaining things very well (I also do coaching on the side for people looking for a career in content creation) I’ve been very fortunate to turn this into a business, however teaching comes first, some of you may know that I say things how it is, I have a very candid style, but I feel like this is the best way to help people get better at the game, sure, I may lose some views and not be the most popular content creator, but I found the more brutally honest I am the quicker people improve.
My goal is to improve people by promoting good football and honestly critiquing issues. So far it’s been working well and slowly-by-slowly the community is playing better football and grasping concepts faster.
I dont think you can improve me, ive tried everything...
This is a common question we get, a lot of people watch tutorials but they dont know necessarily what they are doing wrong. This is because you can do mistakes in FC and still win the game, so its hard to get that feedback unless someone is telling you.
The FC school we teach you exactly how to analyse your own gameplay and if you follow the structure you will always improve – we have a video on almost every topic you can think of – the system will systematically help you improve, the problem is FC is a very complicated game that is actually very basic, the problem is people overcomplicate the fundamentals.
A lot of people I find they just need to improve a few key things, they don’t need to change their entire gameplay, but they may have one or two key mistakes that they’ve been doing for about 10 years that is ingrained as a habit, but once those small issues are fixed people normally start flying through the divisions.
Do I need one-on-one coaching?
Look I’m going to be honest here, I do offer FC 26 Coaching 1-on-1 if you want to improve, but I’ll be honest its better you just saving your money in join the FC school, most people who joined FC school do not need coaching, I would only recommend coaching if you are a busy individual and you don’t have that much time to watch the videos, otherwise the best way is to watch the videos, self analyse as we teach you, and only then if you’re still stuck then coaching is available.
I’m not doing myself a very good job by being a salesperson, but again this is me being honest, you don’t need to waste your money only consider coaching if you really need it, however there is a waiting list, because there’s only one of me and so many people want coaching its almost impossible to open it for the public, so we have improved the FC School teaching you how to self analyse, and leaving coaching for an option if you are still stuck, or if someone does not have that much time or quickly wants to improve.
