What is the Best Tactics & Tactics Codes in FC 26?
There are multiple tactics in FC 26 that are viable, in the first table you can see a list of all the tactics codes & formations in EA FC 26. You can see the different style types which indicate roughly what the tactic is about, and you can always copy the code directly and import into your game or via the companion app to see what the formation is like. You can also see the different tactics both in and out of possession, because depending on the roles, some tactics are different with and without the ball.
The second table has a list of all the tactics used by professional players including the review, in which I go over on my youtube channel. These are the best tactics and meta tactics from content creators, professional players and world champions, the tactics are reviewed and then sometimes adjusted by myself for the “casual player”, as some of these professional tactics are very manual, and require a high skill to play.
What is BEST META Tactics & What are the best codes in FC 26?
We normally go over a few formations, for example historically the 4-2-1-3 was the best formation of FC 25, and it appears to be the same all-rounder in FC 26. However it also depends on player to player.
You may have seen BEST META FORMATION or BEST META TACTIC, this normally refers to the best tactics code for that formation, for example a BEST META 4213 may refer to the best version of the 4213 which is META (referred to as metagame or “most effective tactic available) for the best result. There can be numerous variations though, you could have a best in class version for a defensive 4213 etc.
How do I import tactics in FC 26?
There is two ways you can import tactics, you can do this via the tactics menu on the companion app or inside the game.
The most common way is through the game, when you go into the game I’m going to team management, then go under tactics then cycle through the options until you see “Use Code”, you can enter attacked its code an confirm and name your new setup
Do you have PRO Player (Professional Players) Tactics?
Yes, in the review section we go over PROS tactics and currently the trending tactics that are currently being used. We have the full list of tactics that Neal tests out and verifies himself.
It’s important to note that, tactics can help you improve your gameplay dramatically, it’s also not the main core of your game, you have to know how to play the game first, the tactic won’t save you if you are not good at the game or struggle defensively – although there are some tactics that are good if you are bad defensively, for example a 4213 with CDMs, it’s important to understand this, and realise that any good player can play with any tactic. Neal normally goes over each tactic on his channel, and analyses them.
Are the tactics updated for every single patch and post patch?
Yes, the codes are updated post patch, normally you may see a review video with the title post patch or POST PATCH TACTICS, this is referring to the tactics being updated, however some of these tactics are evergreen and won’t need updates, some tactics natural will need to change, for example if there is a new style of play, or defensive AI is adjusted or perhaps “depth” is changed with a patch.
The majority of the time it doesn’t impact a tactic, but indirectly it impacts how the way people play and thus ultimately it may refer to you needing to change the tactic, you will know which one is the latest update by the date the tactic is uploaded, so if you’re ever in doubt always refer to the video, or see the date the tactic is being updated.
Is this a list of all the tactics available and every single tactic META?
This is an extensive list of trusted tactics, these are ones created by Neal, or created by professional players that are tested and reviewed.
Some of the tactics including the list may be more fun tactics, this would be denominated by the word “fun” next to the tactic name, inside the table, referring to it being more of a fun formation rather than a tactic being META.
If you see the words “test” in the name, that means that formation or tactic is currently under testing and will be updated shortly, you can check this website on a regular basis to see the codes being updated.
