FC 26 Web App & Companion App – Expected release date & all you need to know

The FC 26 Web App is expected to release two days before FC 26 Ultimate Edition is released, here is the key information that you need to know to get ahead of the competition.

With the release of FC 26 being days away, the FC 26 Webapp & Companion is a perfect place to get ahead of your peers before the full game releases on the 19th September 2025. The web app is the foundation block to get an advantage before the game comes out, set your team up and get ready for release. The companion app is similar, except for it can be downloaded on your mobile device on the go.

As a content creator I have been using the webapp to get ahead for many years(youtube link), I use the web app to open a few of the loyalty packs that you receive when you start the game, and get a few bits of trading to get some extra coins. There are some rumours of some expected changes in this year’s web app which I will explore below.

FC26 Web App & Companion App expected Release Date

The FC 26 Web app is expected to release on the 17th September 2025, historically, the Web App releases two days before the Ultimate Team Edition. The companion app is expected to release the following day after the webapp release on the 18th September 2025, below you can see the last web app release dates.

EA FC 26 – What time can you log onto the webappp & go live?

The web app for FC 26 is expected to release at 6pm UK time (BST) on the 17th September 2025, historically it always releases around this time, two days before the release date. Sometimes there may be a delay in getting on because of server overloads.

How to log onto the FC Web App & ensure you don't get locked out

Make sure you log in to the web app a few days early, the web app goes down for maintenance a few days before. You have to ensure you log prior and verify your browser, a common issue is that when the web app gets released, the servers get overloaded and it can take hours sometimes for a verification code to arrive in your mailbox, before you can log onto the web app.

Bonus tip: Alternatively you can set up 2FA authentication or login early into your EA account and get some of your backup codes to quickly login on release.

Is the Web App worth using & How to make coins

The webapp can definitively give you a headstart before the release of the ultimate edition.
There are some rumours of changes that are expected to be in FC 26 web app, previously there used to be a choice of nations when you first log in, there are expected to changes this year.

If it is nations, I would say pick a major nation, and then in the badge and kit sections, make sure you choose the gold rare items, such as the biggest club (for example Arsenal) and biggest club’s kits (Chelsea). While you may want to choose your favourite team or kit that looks aesthetically appealing, you can change this later, the main reason is that historically these kits and badges “quick sell” for the highest amount of coin to get a quick influx of coins.

Head to the store, there may be some welcome back packs if you are a EA Club Member, you can use the rewards to start making a basic team or you can use them to complete Squad Building Challenges (SBC). I would say the best thing you can do at this time is to potentially look at the market for players that others are using for SBCs and try to flip these cards for fast coins.

Remember, there are no FP points on the Web App, you can’t load any FP points and you won’t have an option to transfer your FP points from FC 25 to FC 26, that will only appear as a one-time message when you play the actual game on console.

Heading over the SBC section, now typically I would say you could complete the Foundation I SBC which is very easy, but my personal advice is to not worry too much about trying to complete these SBC’s, a lot of the rewards are untradeable which means that whoever you pack most of the time you can’t sell so you’re going end up having no coins, try to use existing players in your club.

FC Web App Rewards & Coin Guide

There may be some expected “daily rewards” from logging in or by completing tasks & objectives, for example there may be an objective “apply a chemistry card”, I would definitely go ahead and go with these objectives as they will have coin rewards. While it’s not confirmed you can sometimes get coins by just logging in.

Ultimately do not stress if you don’t make that many coins, gone are the days when you can make a lot of coins on the web app, this is a period to set up your team, do some SBCs and get yourself ready for the full release on the 19th September 2025.
